PT Sungming Metal Indonesia runs a state-of-the-art facility modeled directly on the Gimpo plants in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. We merge advanced automated casting setups with heavy hydraulic extrusion systems to maintain optimal structural integrity in non-ferrous metal materials.
Our casting line converts high-purity recycled and raw copper into intermediate structures (billets and slabs) with close thermal monitoring to avoid crystal structure anomalies. This ensures that final extrusions such as copper bus-bars can achieve conductivity ratings surpassing 98% IACS.

1. High-Pressure Smelting Furnace
Smelts high-grade scrap and copper cathodes at temperatures exceeding 1085°C with computerized atmospheric controls to prevent hydrogen absorption.

2. Horizontal Continuous Casting
Casts molten copper into solid billet rods or slab plates. Water-cooled crystallization blocks enable a rapid, uniform grain structure.

Forces hot copper billets through customizable dies to form high-density, consistent electrical bus-bars and profiles with tight mechanical tolerances.

Automated tension-straightening and cutting lines level the rods and plates, ensuring flatness, straightness, and uniform edges profile.
